Well, the one I used to drive at an NHL team’s practice rink certainly had studs. The conditioner will almost always cover the stud marks anyway, so unless you’re powersliding at every turn, the studs will not wreck the ice.

Weird, the ones I’ve seen didn’t seem to have studs.
